Members trip to Albufueira, Portugal consisted of 7 nights at the Dom Pedro Victoria Hotel. We started our first day with a breakfast fit for champions then made our way to the putting green to commence practice.

Similar to previous trips, I explained the importance of reading greens and gave everyone particular drills to practice to be ready for the mini putting competition.

​

We then moved onto the short game area where I demonstrated different shots to utilise around the greens, focusing on small chip shots around the green and bunker shots as the courses we were playing had plenty of bunkers! We discussed the benefits and advantages from playing each shot and when to use it, in order to achieve the best result.

After lunch, we made our way to the driving range to have our group lesson. This gave everyone the opportunity to learn from one another and to help each other when getting on the courses.

​

Again similar to La Manga, the remaining days were filled with rounds of golf, with the opportunity to win prizes. We had an overall winner, a par 3 winner and 2 nearest the pins each round.
